ADMINISTRATION

  • We’re sorry to hear that Ken Nash - long time Vice Chairman at the NSRA - has passed away after a period of illness. NSRA Article

  • The NSRA have relaunched the British Senior Pistol Squad. The NSRA has been proactive in the past two years in relaunching the GB Junior Squad, and farmed it out into separate Rifle and Pistol sections, better aligned with feeding into British Shooting’s GB Academy Programme. The launch of the Senior Squad signals the extension of that for over-21 athletes, who have been largely ignored by the NSRA for the past decade (in respect of performance pathways or squads) and served only by British Shooting’s pyramid or Home Nation/Commonwealth pathways. Getting onto those pathways has sometimes been a bit hit-or-miss given the lack of an NSRA ladder leading to them.

  • The NRA have announced the updated 2019 Bisley Range Regulations (effective April 1st).

EQUIPMENT

  • Walther’s LG400 Monotec air rifle is now available, mating the LG400 action with the KK500-derived Monotec stock. Unlike the KK500 however, Walther have decided to use a barrel-clamping mount rather than bedding the receiver to the stock.
